Article 4 of the AI Act requires providers and deployers of AI systems to ensure that their staff and other persons acting on their behalf have a sufficient level of AI literacy; in doing so, particular account must be taken of technical knowledge, experience, education and training, and the context in which the relevant system is used. While the AI Act does not prescribe any specific form of training, in practice this obligation is typically fulfilled through documented AI training and appropriate awareness-raising measures.
